YIN-YANG AND MEDITATION

Join together for an extended yoga practice created to tap into the wisdom of foundational yogic philosophy through the avenues of yin and yang styles of asana, pranayama and meditation. Yin offers a sweet and slow way into the body and practice. Yang creates inherent fire, while still being offered in gentle yoga style. Pranayama supports us towards greater balance in body, mind and energy, with our meditation supporting us to deepen further into ourselves through this intelligent, loving practice.

 If your body is comfortable in Yin and Gentle Flow classes, this asana practice will be accessible to you. If you would like to participate, but find your body may need additional support in these specific practices, you are still invited to join.


SUNSET YOGA AT MCGRAIL VINEYARDS

Tuesday, July 30th | 6:30 - 8:30PM

We welcome you to our fourth summer of the Sunset Yoga & Wine Series at McGrail Vineyards! Gather on the front lawn overlooking the Livermore Valley, while practicing with the evening sun, gentle breezes, and sounds of nature all around. The one-hour Gentle Vinyasa practice led by Natalie Shapiro (designed for all levels), offers an incredible opportunity to connect within, and also with the environment and community around! Plan to finish feeling rooted, open, and in peace.

Following the practice we will head into the tasting room for a lovely tasting of three of McGrail Vineyards wines, along with nourishing bites. From there, grab your wine and nibbles, then head out onto the porch for the sunset views while enjoying and relaxing with friends.

All levels are always welcome! Please bring a yoga mat, water, and comfortable clothing for yoga. Layers are recommended. For those with sun sensitivities, please bring a hat, glasses, sunscreen, or anything else you may need.

This retreat offers a blend of daily yoga practices – ranging from slow vinyasa and gentle movement to restorative yin and yoga nidra. All classes are held and curated to uplift the body and mind, and to also calm and soften within. Throughout the retreat you will also enjoy guided meditations, balanced with plenty of space for your own mindfulness practices. This retreat also shares sound healing, live music, group rituals, time in nature, and optional one-on-one sessions from one of our many gifted healers.  

We are always sure to offer plenty of free time to explore the ranch, and to simply rest and enjoy! During free time you are free to bask in the hot tub or pool, relax in our hammocks, walk the trails throughout the property, catch up on deep peaceful sleep, enjoy the company of new and old friends, and much more! Also nearby are the quaint towns of Santa Margarita, San Luis Obispo, Templeton, and Paso Robles, along with many breathtaking local beaches for you to enjoy.
