Gather in an intimate and experiential container to empower and deepen connection with yourself and the world of plants.
“Go to the pine if you want to learn about the pine, or to the bamboo if you want to learn about the bamboo. ”
Plants learned to eat the sun. They are more than 80% of earth’s biomass, with almost 400,000 species. Plants have families, communities, and cultures. They know inter-species communication, and many have the intelligence and choice to offer food or poison.
We stand upon their shoulders. Our lungs breathe and hearts pump by the grace of their inherent nature.
And when we turn towards plants, we enter into a world of family, teachers, and ancestors.
Our Plant Kin
During the Plant immersion, we will engage practices and rituals to ignite your unique connection with the plant world — exploring the art of listening, communicating, and building intimacy.
There will be space to connect with an abundance of plants, while also building more intimacy with a particular plant. Our work will not be entheogenic, which will invite you into a more nuanced and subtle conversation, while initiating enlivening connections with yourself and our other than human kin.
Opening Communication
Building new relational skills and tools supports our ability to listen and communicate with greater presence and clarity — and this goes beyond our human relations. During our time together, you will learn new tools, and likely build upon the ones you already have, to widen your attunement and spark more confidence to connect and commune with plants. This also supports your attunement to yourself and all your relations.
Ritual Arts
Ritual is by no means necessary to communicate with plants. However, ritual often clarifies our intentions, focuses our attention, and awakens the imagination in a way that widens our aperture and capacity for connection — especially with the other than human. Because of this, intentional and accessible ritual practices will be an integral part of this immersion, helping to open the way for another kind of conversation.

Why does this matter?
From plants to planets, soils to stars, humans are interwoven into a vast web of relations. We are born into a wild and sacred garden that carries unimaginable gifts and qualities of intelligence.
All human ancestors had deep and intricate relationships with this garden. The plants offered warmth, protection, food, and medicine. This is not any different than today. However, many of us in the modern world have forgotten how to honor and commune with the plants, or to simply say hello.
This act of remembering, this turning towards, opens the way for a connection that is worthy in and of itself. And through this connection, a unique kind of belonging awakens — the kind that can satisfy long forgotten needs and ignite life giving flames.
As much as this journey is one of connection and kinship, it can also be an act of liberation.
Across the planet, systems of power and dominance continue to perpetuate, and often force, human disconnection from the living world. Over centuries, many of us have been cut off from this communion, and incredible pressure persists for intact earth-based lineages.
Drawing our intention, attention, and imagination towards connection with our other than human kin is a step on the path of liberating ourselves, our plant kin, and many living beings from the systems that thrive on our disconnection.
As we meet the wilds, we point the arrow towards the goodness of more life.
So, if you have even an inkling of longing to enter into this ancient conversation — even if you have no idea where to begin…
… follow the whispers of your longing.
