Soften into the sweetness and wisdom of winter’s cradle.
a four session series: January 28 | February 4 | February 11 | February 18
Winter, a gentle gift.
The preciousness of this Yin season beckons us to listen, restore, and nourish. And while winter can be icy and cold, there is a gentle flame, and something soft and life giving buried within.
Winter is one of many essential facets of the wheel of wholeness, and when we give ourselves the space to rest within its guidance, we offer care for the wholeness of ourselves and all life.
Winter’s teachings call for the path of slowness, presence, and intimacy with the liminal — and that is just what we will do during Soft Winter.
Practices to soften.
Soft Winter will be an offering to support you in tending the gentle and subtle parts of yourself.
There will teachings offered to orient and connect to the wisdom of this time, guided journeys and rituals to bring light to the quiet whispers within you, and yin practices to support your body and whole being to relax and soften into the warmth of itself.
There is something tender, ancient, and wise living in the belly of winter, and the heart of our time together will be devoted to tending this wisdom.
Welcoming sweet remembrance.
All of our ancestors had embodied and deep relationship with the seasons. Our lineages and cultures were shaped by the gifts and challenges of each turn of the wheel, and yet, many of us were not born into systems that gave voice and space to this ancient communion.
As we softly turn towards the guides and teachings that live within this season, we grant ourselves the gift of sweet remembrance — welcoming ourselves back into a vast world of kinship and care with the seen and unseen allies that live within and all around us.
“Look deep into nature, and then you will understand everything better.”
